The Jones family has been obsessed with two things: Newfoundland, and story. Their understanding of life has been through a camera, starting when their father brought cinema to independent theatres in the 1950s. The Jones siblings (Mike, Cathy and Andy) have collaborated on iconic story-telling beginning with The Adventures of Faustus Bidgood and including the CODCO comedy troupe. Between 1974-76, Mike Jones documented CODCO’s final performances and behind the scenes; 50 years later, Deanne Foley, in consultation with the family, aims to bring this time capsule to contemporary relevance in the movie Mike never completed.
