A documentary that explores why Canada is still in the grips of language tensions 50 years after the passing of the 1969 Official Languages Act. Indeed, in New Brunswick, Ontario, and elsewhere, such tensions appear to be increasing in recent years. While Canadians struggle to become bilingual, we see young immigrants working hard to learn both official languages, while still maintaining their mother tongues. Imagine what the country would look like today if Canadians had taken a similar attitude.
