Piluk means “feather” in Inuktitut. Through the eyes of a young Inuk girl, we see the gulf that separates the worlds available to her. Her origins have named her and defined her, but she’s confronted with another world that’s calling to her, turning everything upside down: the South. This is a tale about the possibility of reconciling this feeling—an awakening into one’s identity.
