“Am I the skinniest person you’ve ever seen?” is the question a young woman asks the psychiatrist in a video after being admitted in the hospital for anorexia. She’s the filmmaker who at nineteen, was at her lowest weight ever and moments away from death. The provocative question becomes a portal into which she now years later, deep dives into the rabbit hole of the ultimate disappearing act. The experimental documentary takes us on a journey into her transformation as she bumps upon her past as a young Punjabi Canadian kid growing up in a small Quebec town and takes an unflinching look at the pain and loss of childhood and the dis-ease of growing up female.
