Inspired by her grandparent’s stories, Ethiopian-Canadian director Tamara Dawit looks back to February 1937 in Ethiopia – the first and least known genocide of the second world war. Through historical reconstruction and compelling character-driven stories, the documentary will give voice to Ethiopians who resisted the Italian occupation.
