Meet Parissa Mohit

Parissa Mohit is a filmmaker and animator based in Montreal. She is also co-founder of the animation collective. A director of both animated films and installations, she uses a wide array of techniques when she creates, ranging from drawings and constructed sets to found objects and photography. Her driving inspiration is cities—their colourful texture giving her cause to think, react and simply be. Mohit is hoping the lab will help her experiment and build up a workflow by combining three techniques: live-action footage, 2D animation and a 3D environment.
