Baby Weight

Written and Directed by Layla Cameron

Produced by Teri Snelgrove

The increasing popularity of weight-loss medications is fundamentally changing the way we talk about body size. In a world where being fat is understood to be “bad”, it can be confusing why some might say no to these ‘miracle’ drugs. A short documentary film that is part autobiographical and part community project, Baby Weight digs into the different ways people living in bigger bodies answer the question: what does it mean to accept being fat?
