Death and Funerals is a humourous and poignant reflection about..well..death and funerals. Stark black and white with minimal backgrounds, the story is told from the perspective of a child trying to make sense of life, adults, rituals and dying. The film is written and directed by Norwegian-born Canadian film director and animator, Torill Kove who won the 2007 Academy Award for Animated Short Film for the film The Danish Poet.
