Misery Loves Company is a 10-13 minute short animated film about the monsters we become when we don’t deal with the pain we carry. The story features twin sisters Bex and Zia navigating the aftermath of an abusive relationship. In this world, toxic emotions don’t just hurt – they transform you.
Misery Loves Company is inspired by real events. The film will deal with this serious theme with humour, surreal horror and a bold design, presenting characters in situations that are relatable and entertaining. The technique is stop motion animation.
