Shovelling

Written and Directed by M.R. Horhager

Produced by Maral Mohammadian

On a snowy night while shovelling, a man remembers his father and thinks about his son. Shovelling is a deceptively simple animated film. On the surface, we see a common occurrence for most Canadians, a deeply relatable task that has historically been a father’s chore. As the man continues to shovel, he realizes the sacrifices his father made for him and accepts the ones he will eventually make for his own son.
