Offered by the French Animation Unit of the National Film Board of Canada (NFB), Alambic is a paid six-month mentorship program. It gives emerging animation filmmakers the opportunity to create a film that’s up to three minutes long.
Hothouse takes place over 12 consecutive weeks in the NFB English Animation Studio. Not merely funding nor school: Hothouse is instead a paid mentorship in real-world animation filmmaking.
